Yesterday I took a quick hike in the nearby South Mountain Reservation. I may have only spent an hour or two traversing through trees and crunching on fallen leaves, but it was a grand two hours. Getting outside and "unplugging" is one of the greatest feelings. It won't let you totally forget about your piling responsibilities, but it gives you a necessary breather. Because I work from home and don't really have official breaks, I'm always attached. I think its important we find that time and opportunity to get outside for just a little. For some it might be a quick hike, for others a two wheeled journey through the city. We all need some down time to ourselves..
